Should be the one shown with the holes for oil plugs if you buy a gearbox to get refreshed you often don't get or forget to get the blockplate that is what happened to me
make sure to get the inspection cover too.

I got a c6 block plate spare I don't have a spare inspection cover to go with it. I can post a photo later today

Only problem is I am in Australia I was hunting for one of these back when I swapped from 4 speed TL to c6 It was a real pain to find one then I ended up with 2.

There was some one here on this forum that offered me one but I found mine local from some friends.

Just let me know if you get stuck and can't find one.

Mine is same as the top one in tunnelwedges photo with oil plug holes and pressing around crank.

I think if you can find the engine in the USA and liked that kind of thing they are a good engine as for parts they fit just about every type of transmission too them now holly or other after market ecu plenty of info around on building one. I am not a fan of them myself but they are a good strong engine as for getting parts out of Australia I don't think it would be more then anything other engine build except for fe or hemi take the normal price of an engine and double it as a starting point.

13.4s 1/4 mile is ford factory specs for a factory floor xr6 that was a in 2008 model not bad for a 4 door saloon.

Darn .. sold a set of those for $125.00, still had the fins though, they were in great shape

The more I look at Tunnelwedge's the more I like them you could even get something like anodized blue black or gold could look nice but the raw looks great too.

Posi67 have you thought about just running lines and a puke tank? I will say those old MT covers are made out of junk metal I had to weld a small crack inside of mine and it was not fun.

Ford made a big mistake with this engine if they would of put barra's in the mustangs over the crappy eco boost i4 engine i6 na or turbo barra would of been a real hit.
What we call a green top "factory LPG Barra has a green rocker cover" stock bottom end is good for 800 hp and they run them too the moon.

There is plenty of people over here exporting them to the USA now

sounds like what I found in some ones collection of old parts I think mine started out as MT covers they have never had baffles and the rectangle breathers are made by some one back in the 60's or early 70s could even be before the 60's and have long since closed. I had to make new breather tops as I can't find a good enough chrome plater to fix the pot metal pitting yet but they fit T&D race rockers .700 lift fine and I think are period correct looking they don't push oil out the breathers.

I am not 100% sure about this CVF is made in USA I did ask cvf about them before I bought mine and they said they are cast in the USA and they use a billet alloy impeller. That was about 2 years ago and I would buy another one for sure.
