Top Shot nitrous system
« on: June 15, 2017, 02:17:22 PM »
I am considering using this hidden nitrous setup on my next FE build. It's the Holley Top Shot system. Has anyone used this system and if so would you recommend it? It's been out of production for a while now so when I do see them for sale the sellers want big $. Just wondering if it's worth it or not.  https://www.summitracing.com/parts/nos-05090nos

Steve Engberg ran one on his 428 years ago, I bought it, but wasn't really happy with the way it fit compared to a plate system or port injection.  In fact I think it was more work to install cleanly, so I ended up selling it off

Yes watching Steve post about the great results he got with it on his z-eater mustang is why I am wanting to do this.  My application is also a shaker equipped mustang so I don't have room for a plate system (using a BT intake) and I am wanting to keep it stock looking so can't do port injection.
