The ATI's are 7 degrees off. I'm not sure if I can swing it that far in one direction without making a fairly large 2-piece pointer, where the pointer is separate and swings along an arc. That wasn't my intention.
There will be a couple of "generalities" with this. I will make it sit so that it will clear most aftermarket balancers (Romacs are 6.200", Powerbonds are 6.980", ATI's are 7.070"), but there will also be differences in where the timing marks are located, down the middle of the balancer, along the outside edge, etc. I will try to aim to hit around the middle of the width of the balancer with the end of the pointer.
What I usually do on the ATI's, when I use them, is to use timing tape.
My goal is just to make a simple billet pointer, with some significant slots for the holes so that it can be moved enough to allow for common discrepancies, maybe 4° in each direction.
