If Brent were posting for free advertisement, who is it hurting?  Knowledge and experience do have value, yet Brent openly shares here on a daily basis for free.  In return, maybe he picks up a customer, maybe he gives someone the confidence to do a job themselves.  Who really cares??

I was using the Ford motorcraft gold anti freeze in the red bottle for the last 6 years. Last year my dad gave me a couple of gallons of Evan coolant cause it’s supposed to be NHRA legal.

What anti freeze is recommended for an iron block with aluminum heads and intake's?
I know the OE's changed there type when then after having trouble when they put Aluminum heads on their engine's.

Private Classifieds / Re: Mallory Dist advance springs

JumpinJim, you interested in this lot?  $125 for all of it shipped (USA).  If your international I'll have to get a shipping quote.  2 distributors, on vacuum on not.  The vacuum can is new, I never installed the distributor after I put it on.  Neither has a module, one is there but it's bad.  Most all of the springs are there, either in that container or in the distributors.  I know 2 of the light ones are not, they went in boat that I sold a while back.  Those shiny springs are not Mallory, don't know what they fit.  Colors are not very apparent on the springs anymore, so deciphering which is which may be difficult, but they are easy enough to get to.  The advance key is there as well as the instruction sheet.  I'm in so cal if your out this way.

you're right, I don't care. Knowledge has value that someone paid for one way or the other to learn it, why give it away is all I'm saying.

My take, though no one will care.

We are not here for magic, we are here for info.

If you not going to fill out the dyno form, as accurately as possible, then Jay should get rid of it and let everyone post what ever info they want.

I had thought the the forum was to help everyone build these unique engines and don't believe in holding back anything.

I've never like the GM copied Clevelands so, I'm prejudice on that issue.

JumpinJim, what specific springs are you looking for?
I have a complete YL I used to run in my 428 and I have some extra springs in my tuning kit.

Let me know what springs you want and I might....might, have them available.

If a magician reveals how the magic trick is accomplished, it's no longer magic.
