Probably but why 30 should be fine. I don’t think going to 60 is gonna outway the benifits of a thick cylinder. JMO

Nice Brent. With that cam with that duration is it streetable with the 11.25 to 1 detonation wise. I had 11.75 to 1 in my first FE and was streetable.

Not saying that your engine can’t take it but highway cruising I like to be at 2800 rpm 3000 max. Driving at 3600 for 30 plus minutes is screaming to me. Maybe I’m being to cautious when I’m on the parkway. A drive like that could really get those ztemps up.

I was using the Ford motorcraft gold anti freeze in the red bottle for the last 6 years. Last year my dad gave me a couple of gallons of Evan coolant cause it’s supposed to be NHRA legal.

I can see that. I can see how 8 could be lean being farther away but 2 and 6 is odd. No way lash is to tight in those cylinders right like a valve staying open.
