The Road to Drag Week 2014 / Re: The Road to Drag Week 2014 - July 27

Jay, Im sure you know that there is an oil dye to add and a blacklight will show you a bright green trace of where the leak starts. It is a great tool that is used at work at Ford. In fact the manufacture installs the dye in the engines , Trans , and even the A.C. has installed while assembled new.

FE Technical Forum / Re: Doug's CJ headers?
« on: January 03, 2013, 01:10:15 AM »
How do you get the belemgers in the car? Wow those are wide.

The back tubes exit the inner fender about a (3X3 hole) and wrap around back to the collector area. The third tubes cross under and go to the other side. All tubes are the same lenght and bolt in with no modification to the towers. Starter comes right out and no heat around it.

That is awesome, from the stickers right down to the Cragar Super Tricks.  Let's hope it never needs paint!
Thanks, Original paint car. 68 1/2 CJ even more stickers on the other side. Blair Patrick is building a stocker engine for it. Was the Mile High Nationals champs in 1989. In Fl now and trying to keep it as is. Has some old school stickers on it.
