Distributor Cap Quest
« on: May 12, 2023, 05:38:36 PM »
I have this black cap and rotor.
They were both made in Canada. Really high quality.
I would like to find a source for a new cap and rotor. Or NOS.
Made in Canada.
The ECH FA79 is Made in USA as far as I know.

I just bought 3 FF-43 original Neihoff rotors off eBay for my SBF distributor stash.  Might search there.

I ordered a black MSD with rotor.
I'll find one, but the engine needs to get back running.

I think pretty Belinda Stronach makes those caps.

I bought a new Spectra Premium distributor for an 85, 5.0 with steel gear and it came with two caps, the bug one is a weird purplish but the small one is black

NPD sells a nice cap with brass terminals;

I purchased a new MSD. Made in USA. Very similar to the old cap and rotor. I hope I wear it out again.
