Sun distributor testers
« on: September 23, 2019, 12:39:05 PM »
I recently picked up a few more Sun distributor testers, in addition to my 504, I now have an SDT, MDT-50, and a 600. All have cabinets, and two in particular look quite nice. I will probably keep the 504 as it will do electronic distributors, and maybe one more and sell the rest. Haven't checked them out yet, but know how to work on them and get parts. When I know more, I will offer them. They make excellent garage art, but even better when they work

Nice.  I'l love to have one in the shop but too many other things are tugging on the budget.

Sick fetish, Gene. I've got a 600 myself. Cool shop relic. It still spins but that's about it.

Just picked up two more Sun machines, very nice condition 404s, and one has the rare option Ignition Simulator so you can run your entire system and watch the plugs fire to verify- pretty cool piece

Love to have one of those, but they don't show up ever around here.  And if one did, it'd be like now when I have to shell out $500 on Monday to get my truck out of repair jail LOL.
