The one we use to have had two recovery modes. One to recover which was pretty quick and the other mode was a recover and recycle mode which took forever.

Iam looking at the dyno headers and think the tests should have been done with the ones used in each application. A few years we did a couple of days of testing at Teds and found a world of information on HP and torque with different headers. We used averages to determine the winner. This was a 390 stock eliminator engine.

I have a Big Stuff3 if you are interested that came off of a small block Ford. I have installed many Fast Easy EFI units and i have always installed a return line with no problems at all. I have installed them with computer controlled timing and without. I must say it was worth the extra expense to use the computer controlled timing function. I did find out it took more refinement and computer control learn time to learn the settings when the engine vacuum was below 11 inches at idle.

We received a shipment of fuel today. .82 dyed diesel and 1.35 for highway diesel
I remember the fuel embargo back in the seventies i had just moved out of the house. I could not afford to go anywhere.

The retailers are making a killing. I buy diesel wholesale for the excavation company i word for and 3 weeks ago we paid 1.12$ per gallon for dyed and a 1.53 for highway diesel. We buy about 3000 gallons at a time.

I think a big block Mopar will work if you elongate the holes slightly.

If you get a truck with the 5.0 you will not be disappointed. We went to Ohio last year from San Antonio Texas and got 17mph towing a empty 16 foot flat bed doing 75 to 80 miles per hour going. Coming back with a 95 Mustang on the trailer we got 15mph going 70 to 75 miles per hour. Empty gets 20 to 21 miles per gallon. Going thru Tennessee and Kentucky in the mountains we had plenty of power to spare.

We played with the oil rings also until the engine became a smoke machine. Then added a little more tension. This was on my 390 stock eliminator.
