WTB: 69 70 Mustang Fastback
« on: December 27, 2019, 10:51:49 AM »
Hello All.

I am looking for a 69-70 Mustang fastback.

Hoping to find something that is a driver, and doesn't need complete unibody reconstruction (but I am a realist), preferably some kind of running project, all the way up to a decent driver.

Whatever it is, I am going to top out budget wise at about 20k, and I am located on the east coast.

Thanks much, Mike Howard, cell / text at 617-913-5540

Check the San Antonio Craig's listing for mustangs.  69 R code that looks decent, if over priced.  Joe-JDC

Just did a doublecheck and it is an Austin, TX listing.

Sorry, I am not good at pasting listings.

Hello All.

Mission accomplished!

I was able to find a local car, from a really nice guy, equipped the way I wanted, but I did end up going a good bit above my budget.

They sure aren't giving these things away these days.

R Code 3.91 Drag Pack

Thanks for everyone's replies.

The picture is after completing the deal at the previous owners garage last night, I won't actually have it home for about a month.

As you can see in the back ground, he has a mountain of Mach 1 stuff, what you can't see are the several other cars, and the rest of high end pieces in his collection.

Just a really cool old guy, and I'm very glad to have met him.

Pastel gray is interesting and the latest build date that I have seen.  Nice.
