I followed this back to when Fab Rats went out to look at it the first time. It's cool how that 429/460 was able to run with so little work on it after 30 years under water. I'll have to come back to it on Dec 26 when thay release the next episode.

I 'm subbed to Fab Rats but I gotta say, their constant jabs and ignorant comments directed at Ford gets old.

Believe it or not an engine submerged in water with no air space will corrode slower than one exposed to water and air, free oxygen has to be present for rapid oxidation to occur. That engine would be in much better condition than say one that was sitting outside and getting rained on and snowed on baked every summer for 30 years.
