Hello. What your explaining sounds like a gasket sucking oil. The PCV system you show sucks to the plenum. That would make smoke out of both sides of the exhaust. You say the driver only so the lower edge of the driver intake is probably loose. I would just put a wrench on the intake bolts and snug them down and see if that helps.
