Aluminum Rear Breather Stack
« on: February 09, 2016, 11:55:23 PM »
I have an aluminum breather stack that came on my side-oiler. It was mounted on the rear of the intake manifold. I won't be using it but I'm curious if these breathers typically used in some type of racing or in a boat?

Excellent info. I seem to have an FPP oval type. Not sure it's worth much but interesting nonetheless.

My 68 Ranger 410 came with a steel one, not sure it was original?

That breather was orig. made for V-drive flatbottom/hydro type of boats.  IIRC they were made by or for Nicson Marine. I bought a couple from Vic Hubbard's, Hayward in the late 60s early 70s. I think I still have one somewhere.
