JB water pump adapter 67 Fairlane results
« on: May 03, 2015, 02:07:32 PM »
Got to try out Jays adapter with the CVR 55 gpm pump, Spal twin 11 " electric fan/shroud,Griffin radiator, 160 deg therm. Works great, primary fan on with pump stays at 160 deg, going to the line. Sec fan on with 185 sensor was at 180 deg on gauge ,  after a run on return road, then idling in pit with hood closed. So far no creaping temp. at idle. Nice job Jay. 75 deg day here in north central Ill. Sat.

Glad to hear they worked out for you.  I've run the adapters and the CVR pump on my big SOHC, for several hundred street miles, and I figure if the pump can keep that motor cool, there isn't too much it can't handle.
