Engine sounds real good there, and cruises along nicely. Sounds like you've got a lot of the tuning bugs out of it and the car is getting to be pretty reliable for you. That's awesome. Do they use salt on the roads there? I couldn't bring myself to drive it in salt, if they did.

it was -16c that day, the car loves the cold air. they do use salt on the roads here.

Sounds great and glad to see your adventures now that the engine is treating you well

Now that the car is settled in and doing well, you might find some power with a traditional style exhaust.  The sidepipes sound and look cool the way you did them, but a clean 3 inch exhaust with an X or big H and a set of modern mufflers can free up mid range on a street stroker.  You may not need as much with a stock stroke engine but sidepipe cores often steal significant power.

Always easy to spend someone's money, :)    but I really liked the Borla ProXS on my Mustang and recently the Jones Full Boar on the truck.  Quiet-ish poking around down and a real nice bark when you hit it.  I did an H on the Mustang and an X on the truck based on how things fit.  Hard to do on the unibodies compared to the truck, but a big smooth exhaust with mufflers as far back as you can helps too.

I have been thinking of different exhaust,, but it would hand down real low if I put in an h or x pipe cuz of the frame I built and where the headers exit. no room for an x or h pipe. I might try gutting the sidepipes and putting in baffles later on to see how that does
