Vintage Trailers.

So I'm doing the Wild Goose.
Plan on towing it to Moncton for the Atlantic Nationals.
Using the Tear Drop Mustang. ::)





It's all about the Swoop.

The ribs. The Hatch works great. Goes up and down.



The step. Still some development work needed, but you can use it.

Very nice and a fun project!  I built this one in 2006 but she has "grown" into an Airstream as my wife wanted a bathroom.  We gave the teardrop to the kids so they could "join us" but not really join us.....

Very nice Teardrop. Excellent Alum.
I may have to skin the Goose someday. I have left that option open for now.
I'm thinking paint it like Bully Beef can or something.
I built a p bucket thing for us. There is just enough room for a night use.

Those are cool.  But yea - if it ain't got AC, 14 gallons of propane, 40 gallon fresh/30 gallon gray and black - it's not really for use LOL.  Even the race car trailer has AC, microwave, pot and a shower.

Mine has heat and AC, 9 gallons fresh, 5 gallon grey, refrigerator, 2 burner hot plate, toaster oven, cable/TV.  Just don't have the propane, shower, or toilet!  It has gotten plenty of use and I guarantee either of these teardrops will get more attention at a campground than any other RV.  Can't tell you how many people have approached us with questions and wanting to look at it.  I've had my Airstream for 1-1/2 years and have yet to be approached!

I built it to take to the track.
My goal is to take the 482 Stang down to Greenfield and do some burnouts.
I want to drive the car there and it's a couple of hours for me.
Then when you get there it's a open field with an airstrip. And a porta potty. Not much else.
I have tried sleeping in the car, tenting, and trailer. Of course the trailer is comfy.
To spend the weekend there you need a lot of supplies. I do anyways.
I have to be ready to go at 9 am. That's when the Pro cars go.
My long term goals anyways.

Tunnelwedge, are you really planning to tow the trailer with your Mustang?  Should have plenty of power! I assume you've done some frame/chassis mods?  Mine weighed about 1600 dry, maybe 1800 fully loaded and it had a Torflex axle with 7" electric drum brakes.  I towed it with a 2004 Sport-Trac, a 2011 Honda Ridgeline, and my 2018 F-150.

The trailer, underneath it's a hyper-alloy combat chassis.
The Stang has a reasonable amount of pulling power.
Should be ok. Throw the burnout tires on and make some smoke.

The most visible mod to the car would have to be the mirrors.
At some point I will have to back the thing up. I'm going to need all the help I can get. ;)

You haven't lived until you spend a (part of a) night laying in a sleeping bag behind the seats and wrapped around the roll cage in a T-bolt. That would have been in the mid-60s at Columbus at what I remember was a NHRA Regional. :)

Trailer is perfect for your intended use.  Should tow very easy and give decent shelter when needed. We have certainly spent 4 days at a race with less - camp shower in a wash tub at the bracket finals, 1/2 mile walk to the track bathrooms and such.  After a few of those, a cot+ sleeping bag, on board bathroom and AC is like staying at the downtown Hilton.  For long race weekends we take the JayFlight 25' and that gives us two bathrooms and the total lap of luxury. Sitting at the table punching time slips into the laptop sipping ice tea from the fridge - get outa here!
