Just picked this up on a swap for FE parts. 64 F100 shortbed stepside, very solid and straight, bed wood has been replaced at some point. Lowered a bit, and I have my eye on a set of Torque Thrust clones in the right bolt pattern. '69 390/C6 runs great, has headers and a Champion alum radiator, B&M ratchet shifter and an Autometer 5" tach w/ shift light. Runs n drives well, clean paper/ non op. Thinking about that 3+1 OD toploader for a little mileage, maybe a Streetmaster and small Holley or a 4100. Always figured that my 97 Exploder would go south someday, and I would find a home for the 5.0 with GT40 heads, AOD and 8.8 posi/ disc brakes- but it won't die... would be sweet in this thing. Just have to think IT RUNS- LEAVE IT BE...
It also comes with cherry front & rear Jag suspensions......

Cool shop truck, Gene! Just add A/C and a Gearvendors. 8)

Trying to get it home 2day, found a sweet set of wheels that should fit. I already have all the parts for the 3+1 toploader, it would probably just take a slightly longer driveshaft- need to do some cypherin'

Sweet! Same here, I always have my eyes out for the right truck to snag onto. Wish I could find something like that near me. One will pop up eventually.

A guy down the street from me has a White one he put a Mustang Coyote and independent rear axle in. Nice find.
Edit, I got a few pictures of the one I noted above.

I already found a set of Crestline MKII Torque-Thrust type wheels for it, in Crestline's oddball sizes- 6-3/4 x 15 for the front, 8-3/4 x 15 for the rear. More my style, and should let me drop it a few inches. Found a bunch of niggling things wrong, vacuum to distributor unhooked, so two open vacuum ports on carb open- runs much better now. Has headers and Flowmasters, sounds real good but the installation needs a little tidying. Has a nice thick core Champion aluminum radiator with trans cooler ports, but the trans is hooked up to a tiny cooler, looks like a power steering cooler- eh... 69 390-2V engine

I like the way that rear end fits in that truck, and the gas tank fit nice to any idea what it is out of ?
