Happy 2014 to all my pals on the FE Power Forum!
« on: January 01, 2014, 02:10:23 PM »
Hope everyone has a great year.  I'm looking forward to finally delivering the intake adapters, and hopefully returning to Drag Week and at least finishing this year LOL!

Happy Festivus, Jay.

My one goal is to take the engine out of my Mach and replace it with another 427 I recently bought back after building for a friend.....after some performance enhancements of course :) Then get my trailer re-floored, rewired and re-tired. Then get the F250 Highboy fixed up....or take the 390 engine out that I built for it some 20 years ago and put it in my '70 F350 dumptruck. All so I can make the FE Race & Reunion this year in April. It's going to be close, but I'm sure going to give it a shot.

Best wishes for the New Year to you and your family, Jay, and may the gods of hot-rodding favor your intake adapter production and DW 2014 endeavours.  And many thanks for your ongoing dedication to keeping up this very informative site.

For my part, hoping to be at the 2014 FE Race and Reunion at Beaver Springs, ideally in finished 67 Cyclone but, if not, then certainly as a very excited spectator.

Happy New Year everyone!  Great luck for everything you have planned

For me:
1 - Finish my basement (should be almost done by Feb)
2 - Disk brakes, rear suspension, posi, and a new seat for the F100
3 - Twist-lock hood pins, shift light, driveshaft loop and Cal-tracs for the Mustang
4 - Seal up my trailer and put new tires on
5 - Finish by June and coast the rest of the year :)

Jay and all the FE Forum members, Happy New Year to all!

Jay - No doubt those adapters will be finished and become another successful endeavor.  Hope you're able to mature some of your ideas for advanced cylinder heads...
For me, I'm very happy to be back in the good 'ol USA after returning from the overseas assignment earlier in 2013. It really made me appreciate what we have here. Not least of which is the great aftermarket we have for our beloved FEs!
Goals For 2014:
- finish building out the interior of my shop; to enable a great variety of future projects!
- a stroker FE, likely a 427 in my Galaxie's future
- thinking about an FE for the Fairlane...  ;)

Happy New Year to all, and Jay, may all of the 2013 gremlins stay there!

My goals for the new year
1. Complete the dreaded master bath remodel

Yeah, Happy new year guys!

Lots of car goals in store for me this year including meeting Blair Patrick and getting the engine I've had him working on for a while.  I'm pretty excited about making that trip.

Also have a "biggest loser" contest coming up at work over January and February.  Planning to shed about 40 pounds to win that contest which will put a little play money in my pocket and also kickoff the start of me getting back in shape.

Looking forward to a great 2014  ;D

Same to all. Hope to see some of you at Beaver Springs. Gotta replace the clutch and do kingpins for spring. If it would just warm up to 25 degrees I could work in the garage!

I too wish everyone a Happy 2014.  My goals for the new year is to finish building my house as well as get the '68 Falcon built for FE Reunion 2015.  That's two major projects that I would like done by the end of this new year.  I might have set my goals a bit too high?  LOL.  :)

'61 Ford Starliner w/ 352, C6
'68 Falcon w/ ProCharged FE, Lenco 5sp

Happy New Year to all!
The Holiday are over and now it's time to get back in the shop!
I will plan to get the 58 Fairlane back on the road and get my shop sheet rocked and painted.

Thanks Jay and HAPPY NEW YEAR  to you and all the great forum members  If I keep following all of yours sage advice you might make a mechanic out of me yet.
Goals for 2014
1. Get  the S code  with new engine/trans out of the garage, painted and new upholstery installed.
2. Get the  427  snake with new rubber out to  High Plain Raceway (Colo)  for some  hot laps.
3. Find  a quality portable lift for the garage.
And Jay  Can you keep  those chickens warm  in all this frigid  weather?

Late to the party, ha ha, that is indicative....

My new year resolution is to structure my time so I can at least enjoy working on my Mustang.   Please note that I did not state accomplish anything.
