WTB: Crites Performance Mustang Hood

(1/2) > >>

Chrisss31:
After looking at them for years, I just went on the Crites Performance website to buy a teardrop hood for a 65-66 Mustang.  I see that closed up shop after the owner's passing....  From what I understand, Crites is (was) the only real choice for a quality fiberglass hood, if anyone knows where I could track one down I'd be eternally grateful.  Ctravinski@yahoo.com

Best Regards,
Chris

Tunnelwedge:
Maier Racing used to make teardrops for Mustangs.
Not sure if they still do, but the teardrop on my 68 is a Maier fiberglass hood.
I've had it for a long time.

Chrisss31:
Thanks Tunnelwedge.  I've read a lot of mixed reviews about Maier's hoods, but it's still an option.

Has anyone had any experience with Artifiberglass products?  They have a diverse line of hoods and such.

Tunnelwedge:
Interesting. The one I have is excellent.
Probably one of the nicest body parts on my car. You would have to see my car up close. :)
I have had it going really fast and it does not shake or flutter.
It's super light and fits great.
I'd have to give it a A+ rating.
