I ordered a Bullet cam, a few days ago. Bullet has a full stock of FE cam cores.
The wait is min of 8 weeks on the CNC cam grinder BUT, if you order a Ultra Dyn cam lobe, they can do it right away, on their older grinder. About a 2 wk lead time, after the first.

Better strike while the iron is hot.
Cores are in stock (both flat tappet and roller) with both Bullet and Comp. Between the two of them, I've shipped out over 40 camshafts in the past 3 days.
I have a feeling it won't last long, the cam business has gotten into the ebb and flow that other parts have been seeing.

Update....
Bullet *had* roller cores for FE's, but they're having to send them all back because the dowel pin hole was made oversized....
Comp has cores, but we'll have to see how many they have left after the last round of orders.

Comp is out of cores as well.
Can do flat tappets from Comp or Bullet, but both out of billet cores.

Brent, Don't know what Bullet's situation is but if they decide to dump them cheap because of the defect, it wouldn't take much to machine a pin for them. Someone with a small lathe or cylindrical grinder could easily make the bigger cam end and standard timing gear end. Just a thought.

I tried to order from Howards before that and Kirk said that there would be FT, FE cores, coming in between Jan and Feb. I didn't ask about rollers so, I don't know if they have those.
