I got several choppers hovering around my hose for the last hour...
Its not only you FElony that they are after
They are after me to
...tried to check the dark corners of my yard but have full daylight till August.
Something big is going on here right now. No traffic on the road, to quiet
except the choppers in the air

Stepsons -66 fairlane was manual trans and
someone that swaped to a C4 forgot to instal
the kickdown
Is there a bellcrank on the intake or..??
Never had a Auto Fairlane
Anyone that have pics from a shopmanual or something?

People ask how much HP my new 390 have and i say i realy dont know.
What do you dyno guys think
390 +.060 0 decked 10.5/1 ratio,flat top pistons, stock crank,rods, C4 G heads with a "streetport job" mostly
worked on shortside radius, CJ Valves,Ported Streetmaster, 800 DP Comp 282S ,shorty castiron headers
Duraspark with MSD 6 AL.
What HP and torque when working like it should. My guess just under 400/400
what would i gain with say a 294S cam like i ordered but i got a 282s
What do you dyno guys think

Anyone that knows if the enginemounts that bolts to the
Chassie is the same on FE Galaxie/Fairlane -66.
Boltpattern looks very similar if my memory serves me
right about the Fairlane?

I got a call from my stepson he had bought a -66 Fairlane he was
down south and had a look At. So he had bought it and was on his
way home. 900 miles still to drive, 289 c4 so now we must hunt for a FE
It had a bad rearwheel bearing so he put in a new one before he left
And had stopped and checked the ign,timing was 5 deg after tdc
and leaking brakebooster so set the timing and plugged the hose to
the booster so now it runs like a champ

I was going to wash the Galaxie today but... spraying degreaser
with those 1 liter bottles with a hand pump is no fun....
and those "gardensprayers" you can buy...well they are not made
out of Amerikan bauxite
So i decided to make my own , I had this old Fire extinguisher
i opened and emptied out, drilled a 7/16 hole at the top put a
valve stem from a wheel, Twisted a safetywire around the stem
so i could tread it in from inside the extinguisher.
I bought a handle and a long "nossle" and a piece of hose
so now i just fill it whith degreaser and presurice it with
the ...well the thing you fill the tires
No hand pumping just aim and pull the trigger

What is your experience with Powdercoating?
I was at a friends place and he make A-arms
for snowmobiles.He had just recieved a load
of A-arms back from Powdercoating.
And the colour was an exact match with the
semi gloss thats in the engine compartment
They can take thing as big as the Galaxie inner
fenders, so im thinking if i should powdercoate
all that im able to bolt of from the car,
Innerfenders, radiator suport,a-arms spindles
etc,etc.
