Well, he didn't flip it yet. I think he is going to have it a while at that price. The way car dealers make money is rapid turn-over. When a car just sits, so does your money.

That's original paint? Man that is one clean car! I hate that he calls it a Thunderbolt in the add title though, then mentions that it would make a nice clone in the last sentence of the add.

Yeah, the car has original Wimbledon White enamel paint.

Had two of those cars, identical.  Both started as B300 6 cylinder cars.

Also had just about every part to convert it to a TBolt 500 clone, but he didn't want the parts.

I have had that happen many times. Always feel like a chump when I sell something for $500 that is quickly resold for $2000.

When I go to Fords Carlisle with a swap meet spot I'm generally in "cleanout" mode and just looking to get rid of stuff.  The "dealers" usually cruise through in the morning and buy a fair amount of my stuff, and I'll see it sprinkled throughout the field later in the day.  Some are decent prices, some are absurd and it looks like the guys never actually move any product.

Sounds like my few days selling at Columbus years back.  I took a pile of stuff, priced to SELL!   It was mostly cleared out Friday evening by other dealers.  $50 intakes, $50 headers, etc.   Everything was priced at 2-4x at other spots when I walked around.  Have fun with it!!  I wasn't taking it home.  Let them haul it around
