Some call that a 2 bolt CJ block with the thick main webs, same block they used for four bolt mains. Great candidate for converting to 4 bolt mains. They can usually be bored to 4.44 pretty safely. Sonic check would be good idea. Even with 2 bolt mains, those blocks can take a ton of power.
The 385 series 429 cast cranks are stronger than Kryptonite. You can offset grind them to BB Chev rod journal and get some stroke out of them. You will never hurt one.
Heads are early screw in rocker stud versions and can be cleaned up to make very decent power, converted to standard screw in stud/guide plate valve train. Originally used a rail tip rocker with no guide plates. They have small chambers. The 4V flat top piston 429 was 10.7:1 cr. Usually 72-76cc.
Rods are broached/shoulder cut versions, not CJ. Nothing special there.
