You obviously won't be doing much street cruising with that micro-fuel cell...lol

That looks great, nice work. Have you left room for clutch linkage with those fancy headers?

No, I don't think a factory linkage will work with the headers, and also the engine has been moved slightly rear. I was planning on using a hydraulic throw out bearing.

It's really too bad that you have to make use of all those second-rate parts and the 'shade-tree' fabricating.

On a serious note---VERY PRETTY!!!

Progress has again come to a halt as I wait for parts and a spot to become available in the paint shop I use. Pretty much all the fitting and fabricating has been done, brakes connected and working and wiring just about finished.

With the hope that either my tunnel wedge intake will be finished, or an alternative become available, I dummied up my carbs on a MR 2x4 intake I had at home so I could mount the fuel pressure regulator and fuel lines. Good excuse for some photos.

Carbs are a pair of modified 660 centre squirters.

Thought we'd take a shot with the ram air box on.

A bit more progress.

It's starting to look a bit more like a car.

Also, on the engine front, I've decided to give up on my leaking tunnel wedge and took the plunge on one of these:

The manifold should be finished and on it's way to me next week.

That is a beautiful intake! :) Are you still planning on running the 660's or maybe a pair of 750's? Very nice work, keep it up!

I have a pair of QF 850 carbs set up to run on a tunnel ram, I will use them on that intake. They should give the engine enough to breathe with.

My car has finally finished in the paint shop and is now back in my workshop. Need to get a few small jobs done, have the LH side headers modified to clear the steering rack, and then just wait for the engine. I can't believe how great it looks, big change from the rusty shell I bought over 8 years ago.

Very nice! Kudos to you for doing so down under. Hard enough here in the USA but it had to be a stone bitch to source all the parts sooooo far from here. Heck, you even got the TASCA emblem on the trunk!
