Alan,
I’m guessing you are aware but I’ll mention it anyway… there’s some easy things to do to your SCJ heads to pick up a few tenths if and when you freshen the heads. They benefit greatly from back cutting the intake valve and chamber/bowl blending… it’s crazy how much low lift flow the heads will pickup with those two items done… glad you are having fun at rmrw… I want to do that event some year.

Yup, no problem. I was asked what my combination was and was just relaying what I had. Plus I was pointing out that I ran as quick as I did with out of the box parts, no custom machining or cam grinds. I may get some port work done on the heads over the winter or upgrade to either P51 or SR71 Kaase heads. Along with a cui upgrade to 545.
It would be great to see you at one of these events. BB Fords of any type are seriously under represented. Out of 287 cars I was one of only two BBF powered cars at RMRW 2.0. Last year I was the only one. At the 4 DWs I attended it was a little better but still in the single digits.
