FS: New Hurst bolt on chrome shifter stick
« on: September 18, 2016, 11:12:01 AM »

P/N 538 8009 - New in the blister packaging, been sitting in the shop for a bit.  I was going to use it on my Mustang with the Supershifter / 4 speed, but not enough bend for the Tremec in the center of the hump and further forward.

50 bucks plus shipping, more info in the links below, pretty much 80-90 dollars everywhere.  FYI the Ebay link shows the bend pretty well along with the offset

Ross I think that will work on my TKO 600 to get the shifter closer to the center.
I'll take it.
Shipping to 25177 zip
send me an email and let me know how you want paid.
Thanks

Gary, I will happily sell it to you, but from a straight up Tremec nub, it's going to go back towards the bumper by about 3 inches, then angle the knob toward the drivers seat slightly.  Is that what you want?  Love money, but just want to make sure it's what you need

Ross, I think it will work ok for what I want to do with it.  I was looking for a Hurst stick like this and will probably put a 4 speed knob on
so it will look like a toploader. If need be I can modify it some.
If it won't work I'll make someone else a deal on it.

Trying not to hi-jack the thread. But, since you guys are using 5 speeds, do know of any 7275 Hurst Sticks around?  It's what would be stock for a 4 speed 70 Cougar.

  thanks,

Mark,
I haven't seen any shifters like that around here.
I have one of a scarce few Fairlanes in my neck of the woods and no cougars like yours
around here that I can recall.
