I think it all depends on how much boost you want to run. If you are only looking at 5-7 pounds of boost, and the engine is in good condition, I wouldn't be afraid to run it like that. If the engine is old and tired, then I'd agree with Heo that you should probably go through it before you try to add boost. And the stroker kit is a great idea too, because you won't pay much more for that than you would getting the engine rebuilt with stock components, plus the stroker kit will have better rods and pistons, allowing more boost if you ever want to go there. Of course, with the price you are paying in the UK for fuel, maybe you want to keep it a 352.
