Will M/T valve covers fit a 63 Galaxie with power steering.

Looking at some valve covers and need to know if they will fit my car.
I get mixed messages when I search.

My engine is currently out of the car.

Can anyone help?

I don't know for sure, but based on a stock FE's position in my 64 Galaxie I would say that they will fit with no problem.

Selash, also based on looking at my '63 Fastback with 352 I don't think they will have a problem clearing anything. Something to be aware of is the spark plug wires; if you have original length wires they might not be long enough.  The original covers have brackets that hold wire retainers and you will need to fasten them down another way, as I didn't see anything similar on the M/T covers.

Having said all that, you gotta love the look!  Not only do they look good but running those covers is a nice tribute to Mickey Thompson; a great racer and innovator.

Thanks for the advice.  I bought the valve covers today.
They are extreemly clean inside and out. :)
I am confident that they will fit at this point.
Spent about an hour or so cleaning up one of them to get it ready for my buffer.
Still need to go through a few more grits of wet dry.
They will clean up very well.



They are a nice solid valve cover and I too like the character of the look.
