My dad is almost finished with his 462" in his 55. Same engine mounts, Crites headers and transmission mount, regular car FE pan. He did not use the complete Crites tranny mount though, went with a 63/64 Galaxie mount. Headers are very tight if manual and need some massaging.

Scott seemed to be an overall nice guy that was willing to help, but he also came into another world (FE's) besides his own and seemed to have a chip on his shoulder. I hate to say it guys but what do you expect as we have all seen as die hard Ford fans, he had a side that was typical Chevy guy. I also found it very interesting like Joe that he came in here for a while gaining recognition then builds 1 FE, posts obtainable but very optimistic numbers and then finds a lame reason to bail. As has been mentioned, we all have opinions but there tactful ways to express them IF you want to actually get along and you have to be extra careful communicating in a forum setting.

So sorry for your loss Chris. Sounds like he was a very intelligent and accomplished young man that was raised right. There is a plan for us all, prayers for you and your family.

Sorry to hear that Todd, we all have chased the better deal at one point or another and don't think about what you're not getting for the extra $. Just try to look at the bright side that at least you caught it now and not going down the track in your car and something really bad happening and costing you a car and an engine or even worse.
