Got watching the 63 Daytona 500 thanks to the thread below. This video followed the 500.. Living on the NE coast of Florida the "packed" sand at low tide should be on everyone's bucket list at least if you visit Florida.... It IS NOT smooth and it is short lived since it's only a low tide.
I caught the color scheme of the car at 9:30 and nearly fell out of my chair at the coincidence/subject

Evidently beach racing is making a comeback.
There is a vintage drag race in Jersey and I hear the same will be happening at Pismo beach out west here.
Flathead era stuff.
