Although, it wouldn't be any heavier than some of the bags I have seen people try to stuff in overhead lockers. They bring on boards bags so heavy they can't lift them up, and expect our cabin attendants to lift them up for them. Wrong answer. If they want heavy bags to travel with them, into the holds the bags go.

LOL, helped more that a few crew or a passenger lift a hefty bag, just trying to help.  I'm eye to eye with the bins, except on an Embraer, then I'm a hunch back.  I can see over the plane going in the door.
