Private Classifieds / Autolite 1.33 Two Barrel Carbs
« on: May 27, 2017, 06:58:26 AM »
Five cores in various states of disrepair, typical used carbs.  All are the hard to find 1.33 that folks use for FE tripowers.  One has a manual choke.  One is frozen, another carb I had free last year and it re-froze over this winter.  One is missing the throttle shaft and blades.

$160 for all, plus shipping.  Will bring to a swap meet or USPS money order.  $7 extra for Paypal.

Vendor Classifieds / 62 Galaxie Parts
« on: February 15, 2017, 01:23:19 PM »
Starting to dig into my stash of 62 Galaxie parts.

NOS COAZ-7526-A windshield wiper arm (also fits up to 64)   $40
NOS C2AB-6204460-A Galaxie 500 glove box emblem   $95   no box, not reproduced
3 used front fender stainless eyebrows, have small dents, much better than average, plus free used 1962 Galaxie license plate frame  $90
4 used hubcaps, bright finish but have shelf wear, one has shallow dents  $65  SOLD
Dash instrument cluster with clock, but missing speedometer  $62

Adding some more parts:

500 gas tank door trim panel and emblem, fair condition  $25
Right side quarter eyebrow above taillight $40
Unknown lower rocker panel trim part about 2 1/2" long $15
Bench seat trim $40
Interior kick panel trim, two red passenger sides $30
Interior kick panel trim, left and right, champagne color $50

64 Galaxie headlight bezel set $150  plus have some individual headlight bezels - but no RH outside ones.

Bostrum seat core with tracks from van - for Thunderbolt or Lightweight clone  $275

64 Fairlane tan kick panels  $45

Trying to keep prices low by not using $bay and only taking USPS MO's.  These are actually parts from a project car, and like 90% of the stuff I'm selling here are not vendor stuff just parts taking up space that I've had a long time.

Link to page nine, older thread where some of the initial pictures have disappeared.  Some pictures that have not been online previously.  Unfortunately mentions the unmentionable person.  Somebody needs to tell them about the Pond or Dove heads:

Vendor Classifieds / Early alternators and Mercury Valve Covers
« on: January 30, 2017, 06:45:28 PM »
From my Craigslist ads:

https://pittsburgh.craigslist.org/bks/6041298423.html

and:

https://pittsburgh.craigslist.org/pts/6026942573.html

Got rid of my online store, that was way too much hemorrhoid inducing work.  So just listing things on Craiglist and selling like DJR on the other forum.

On the alternators, someone needs to scan the rounded front cover and then CNC the sharp edge covers for folks.  For some reason there seems to be a bunch more of the sharp edged covers around.

The valve covers I've had a long time, but don't have any more FE engines to put them on.  These are the best set I've had.

Private Classifieds / Ugly Galaxie Z Bar
« on: June 13, 2016, 09:20:06 PM »

Private Classifieds / 63 1/2 Galaxie 427 distributor
« on: May 02, 2016, 03:45:56 PM »
Price check, this is not my distributor.  My buddy wants to sell it and is bringing it to Ford Carlisle this year.  It is a dual point distributor stamped C3AF-12127-AE with a 3M date code.  It is missing the points and wire lead.  It is in good condition and does not need glass beaded, just light cleaning.  I think this fits the early 427 Galaxies.

Private Classifieds / Couple of FE front covers
« on: April 03, 2016, 01:09:23 PM »
Early steel cover with welded on timing pointer  $40 plus shipping

The cover from hell, seriously...666 date code, a mis-cast code on a C3AE-A casting.  No timing pointer  $45 plus shipping

Both are dirty and greasy but in good condition.

FE Technical Forum / New FE oil filter adapter
« on: March 04, 2016, 09:47:52 AM »
Looks like someone has re-popped the original FE oil filter adapter:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Ford-FE-Block-352-390-428-Mustang-Cougar-T-Bird-Oil-Filter-Adapter-/222028163357?hash=item33b1e8e91d:g:NIYAAOSwLnlWntbF&vxp=mtr

Probably made in China

Then Ford must have made another run, they are available again at Ford dealers, but even the good guy price is around $90 to $95.

Private Classifieds / WTB Not-FE - PAW SBF Pentroof Aluminum Valve Covers
« on: February 22, 2016, 11:48:25 AM »
Wanted PAW cast aluminum valve covers for a small block Ford.  PAW made some of these pentroof style valve covers before they went under (mostly - still in business, somewhat) back in around 2006-2008.  There were made in two styles with plain fins and with 427 cast between the fins.  Prefer the plain fins version.
