That is WAAAAYYYYY cool! :D Great work on that project, it is amazing!

All that is left now, is to swap the old FE into the new F-150......

Amazing is a good description.

Have you got the door latches operational yet? It looks like you was holding it closed going down the street.

I hope this was done really right. You should realize that when you go for a first drive and you have no windshield, you MUST be sitting on a milk crate. ;D ;D ;D

Working on that . .

I used the EcoCab for a driveway rake . .  So I can actually say I have a 2011 F150 That is FE Powered . . Pulled behind my other '66 FE Truck.

How many others can say they have a 2011 SuperCab F150 powered by a FE?

Passenger side is working. Drivers side I am in process of using the power '11 locks and latches. THey do not bind as much as the '66.

The air pressure coming thru windshield was pushing door open, had to hang on to it

Lowe's 5 Gallon Pail. Everything else was held together with vice grips why have a seat bolted in . . lol

Lucky front bumper did not fall off as only one clamp on drivers side.   Just HAD to finally drive it.

Thanks! A bit more than I bargained for but sold my diesel daily driver to do this truck as my daily. Trying to get it on the road before I get back on my '66 482 truck (427)

Still chugging along . .  Slow as ever but still trying.

LOL!

Really wanting to get back on my '66 F100 482 project but need something to drive first. The 482 truck will be a occasional but EcoBoost will be daily driver.

So close to getting the 482 project running for first time but $$ & Time never seem to align . . Going on 16yrs now.

I was hoping to have comparable power at the wheels between the 2 projects. Be lucky if the 482 truck makes 450 rwhp but am pretty sure the Eco66 will make more than that.

Right now the Eco66 is 3800 lbs with no box, paint or little interior or dash and a 1/4 tank of fuel.

It could make 2.2 HP per Cu In @ the tire!

482 Truck should be a few hundred lbs lighter when complete. Would be a interesting race for sure.

In order for the Eco project to be closer in RWHP & TQ I am adding a few goodies. 427 now 482 with a bunch more cubes, CNC'd heads, Tunnel Wedge & Custom Headers I decided

To add some basic's to the Eco66 so they will be closer in output. Eco66 Will get a "tune" it already has the upgraded or at least I hope upgraded InterCooler, doing a slight upgrade in turbo compressor wheel, down pipes. Hoping for 475 RWHP & 500 RWTQ on stock fuel system

Something is telling me the Eco66 will out-do the '66 482.

This is my YouTube channel.

Once I figure out how to edit etc will be adding my '66 482 Project to the mix.  (simply not enough time or brain power in a day)

Be interesting to see them run down the track together, dyno on same day & compare the Hp & TQ graphs.  Eventually  . . .
