They used to make the headers for FPA but they started having someone else build them a while ago. Looks like there's still some headers in inventory.  I wonder what happened to all the different jigs?

I talked to Stan Johnson, owner of FPA a couple of weeks ago, and although Stans Headers were building the headers for FPA, (2 different Stans), one or 2 of the old employees of Stans Headers are now building the headers for FPA, using the same jigs,as Stan from FPA owned the jigs that were exclusive to him, for the FPA headers. So any jigs in this auction are not the ones used for FPA products. When I talked to Stan (from FPA), he said that they were about 6 weeks for headers, so if you were to order them today, you would not see them for about a month and 1/2. When I ordered my headers for my 59, it was about 1/2 that amount of tome, about 5 years ago. But you can rest assured that if you order a set of FPA headers, that the same guys, are building the headers using the same jigs, but in a different shop.
