I've thought about getting one of the bell crank deals and spinning the carbs around to make it a bit easier to plumb the bowls.  Kinda lost some of that mojo when the local track closed.  Makes it much harder to do any hard testing on pump shots and such.

I use the factory progressive on my Fairlane ,just modified one link to be longer for the High Risers wider carb spacing since it was LR/MR linkage. If both carbs go full throttle at the same time so I don't see any harm in ET. If I have to lift the throttle the run probably didn't matter.
