SOHC Pro Stock Maverick
« on: January 03, 2017, 05:18:42 PM »
This was posted on the Blast From The Past Facebook site and I thought the pictures were pretty cool. It's Kenny Hedman, one of the original principals of Hedman Hedders, and his SOHC powered Maverick Pro Stock car. The original post and picture were started by Kenny Hedman's son Brian Hedman, who said he was just a kid at the time. That's one good looking SOHC and car, and not as well known as the Dyno Don Nicholson SOHC Maverick.

I came across this picture today, Al Joniec's Maverick Pro Stock. And you can see bit of the cammer poking out. These two cars and at least some of the old pictures of Dyno Don's SOHC Maverick seem to show the same tunnel ram intakes with the slightly twisted Dominator mounting pattern.
