That's a Weiand 1994 with a single 4 top.  I've never seen one of those tops, I think they only come with the dual four barrel tops now.  Lots of FE guys will use something like that with my FE to 351C intake adapters.

Thanks, Jay.  That's why I posted in the main forum; I was familiar with your adapters.

I'll list it in the classifieds.

FE Technical Forum / 351C Tunnel Ram ID?
« on: March 01, 2024, 09:22:29 PM »
Anyone know anything about 351C tunnel rams?  Traded a guy some '68 GTO parts for it a few minutes ago.  He claimed it was for a 351C, but the numbers aren't legible.  Can anyone help with ID?  Also, if you guess on value, I'm all ears.  My people are FE and Windsor people, so I'm going to send it down the road.

Thanks,

Scott

Going through stuff in the garage left over from a 428 build from about 12 years ago, and I've got 4 billet aluminum stands and 4 steel stands and a fair amount of hardware.  I don't recall who manufactured these.  The billet stands are definitely new; pretty sure the steel ones are new, too.

I'm not sure what it's worth, but how about $75 + shipping for everything pictured?  I'm in San Antonio.  I take PayPal, Zelle, Venmo.

The cast rocker stands are the strongest available. They provide very good support for the rocker shafts. Far better than the aluminum ones - factory or aftermarket. The split iron ones clamp the rocker shafts. The aluminum ones end up oval and allow the shaft to move up and down with time.
The factory 427's were the cast iron stands - should be worth something to someone.

Thanks for the info!

Fellas - I'm still cleaning out the garage.  Ran across a small box with my rocker arm stand bits and could use a bit of help with identification since it's been 10 or 12 years since I touched any of this.

The cast iron rocker stands aren't anything special, right?  Just regular OEM?

The billet aluminum ones should be from POP or maybe DSC Motorsport?  Look familiar to anyone?

Any ideas on what all this is worth?  I'm not planning on building an FE again anytime soon, so I'm not going to hang on to it.

Just retired from the Army after 26 years and need the funds to start a business so my restored '66 Fairlane is up for sale.  New interior, fresh drivetrain, fresh paint, pretty much everything new/refurbished, etc.

I could write a book and post dozens of pics, but best bet is to check out the auction - currently on eBay with no reserve - https://www.ebay.com/itm/325800327787

Thanks,

Scott

Got the short block done on the 7.3 IDI turbo diesel engine build - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O-96getWjac&t=103s

Hurry and get it on road!  Will you use it to move back to TX?

Hey Randy - It's getting close!  Engine and trans are in and I start the transfer case (BW 1356) rebuild this weekend.

Will probably sell the truck in June or July, but should be running and driving by then.  Too many projects stacked up back home in Texas.
