Title: WANTED: One "Mercury" script pent roof valve cover.

I am seeking a single "Mercury" script pent roof valve cover.
I am cleaning up a pair I have and one cover is rusted through.....Dang it!

I have a few sets, but no singles. Might want to check which year you have so you get a match, they are a little different

I was not aware there were different versions of the pent roof Mercury script valve cover.
I know there are other Mercury script FE valve covers, but those are not pent roof style.

The versions I have...or had...are the 1966/1967 style with the lightning bolt and plug loom holder in the center, and technically the cover I am trying to replace is the one with the twist on hole rather than the round hole....but I can live with either.

Gene is right, there are multiple versions of the pentroof lightening bolt Mercury script valve covers. Differences in the shape and angle of the bevels at the ends. And if I remember the difference may be to accommodate different engine compartments? So take note if that might be important for the application you have in mind. In any case, if you can’t post a picture here you might at least want to check a picture of any someone offers, if an exact match is important. Years ago if I remember someone posted a comparison on the old FE Forum.

I have three of these merc valve covers. And they are available in Ga. call 678 603 8400 .

Hey all, I have found a valve cover, thus ending my search.
