Why i ask is my stepson called me. He is visiting a friend
and the friend bought a Impala with a 400 sb with some
camelhump heads and flat top pistons and a "cam" but
just a 500 edelbrock and they wanted some more go
so i told them to buy a 750 Holley to begin with
They called and had bought a 750 holley cheap on a swap
and sent me pics.....it was a Pro Form with Holley float housings
Looks "racey" with no choke and exchangeable air corrections
I'm afraid they bought someones problem
Any one having any info about stock jets, air corrections etc

I see lots of pro form stuff at the drag strip on some pretty quick cars. Been around a while so I'd think they are atleast decent.

I haven't used any proform carburetors but I have three of their main bodies in use presently with no problems .Quick fuel uses pro form main bodies and adds their base plates and metering blocks I used a 750 pro form main body to replace an older holley it was a good runner on my 427 comet .I also replaced a quick fuel 950 with a pro form 1050 main body my car picked up a tenth .Pro form is alright with me !Doug

I think this is a main body converted Holley
I found specs on proforms site. Good to know
the factory specs  to start with otherwise its
easy to get lost

I use ProForm bodies here, they work well.  I tried a Holley main body a couple of years ago - they sent me a piece of junk and I sent it back.  I do not use the ProForm blocks, I use Quick Fuel as they seem to work a LOT better.
