Man was that thing a dog. I got pulled over going over Donner pass in the Sierras in California for going to slow. Way underpowered. I think you can add a turbo to them pretty easily though.

Very VERY nice Dizzy and NOS C3AZ-A points in the FoMoCo package. The Distributor looks brand new and has barely been run. The date stamping is difficult to make out and I will send pics of it. Someone put dual points in it at some point and they are still in it. NO Cap or rotor.

In between the two center exhaust ports on the heads there will be a casting # - Most CJ's heads casting number are C8OE-6090-N. If it is not those numbers, just write down what it is and search the web or post here or both.  As for the block the casting numbers will help but wont be a definitive way of identifying it.  Its usually on the pass side up front on the side of the block.  The date code is most likely under the oil filter adapter and will help as well.  Let us know and we will help you sort through it.  The only real way of knowing with an FE is to measure bore and check stroke.  Hope this helps.

Jay's correct, any value placed on the engine without knowing what it is and it's internals are, will be pretty inaccurate.  The current state of affairs of the engine and it's parts will need to be known to give you an idea of its market value. Can you post all the information you have on it?

1. CJ Heads: matched pair of CJ heads. 9M16 & 9M15. New bronze guides. Fresh hardened seats. Good thumbprint left. Freshly surfaced on all sides. Have been welded at
exhaust ports that isn’t to pretty. $700.
2. Complete set CJ heads mismatched 8L8 & 9J22. Never cut. Untouched. Original condtion. $900.
3. Matched set 406 heads 2E3 & 2E7. C2SE-C Heads. One head has 4 broken exhaust bolts. Both heads severely rusted on one end. $250.

5. CJ Heads - Matched set 8k29/8k30 - Completely redone $1150
6. C4ae-h Low Riser heads - 66 date code - Extensive Port work done on these. Very Nice Heads. $1000
