AOD has a band for overdrive. It won't take high power and heavy loading without burning up. Not positive but I believe 4R70 is the same way.

"High power" and "heavy loading" are vague and indefinable. Move to a 2" band and an A+ aftermarket servo. Billions of videos with these transmissions behind boosted/sprayed engines would tend to hint that you can make one live behind a moderate FE.
