My youngest son is home from the University during easter.
And since he live in a digital World with 3d printers and computers and so on
but  have started  developing some interest in guns.
I decided to show some realy pre computer Tech. :) :)
I have an old blackpowder navy Colt so i taught him to cast
bullets. Load it up with powder  the freshly  cast bullets and percussion caps
with out pressing a single key on a key board
And he even killed a few of the tincans :)
He tought it was realy COOL that a gun from 1851 you made your own bullets for
and loaded up by your self still worked and he was able to hit something with

I have used those GM center stear racks in some instalations
Stock the stearing rods mounts in the midle of the rack about
two inch apart.
I take a thick flat iron bar and drill mounting holes in the midle
so it fits on the rack.
Then i heat and bend till it fits the actual aplication, drill a hole
to each end and ream the to fit the cone on the rod end.
Or if i dont have the right reamer i make a cone in the lathe
heat the iron bar and hammer down the cone in the hole
It a real easy instalation. They come both Power or non Power
stearing.
I have even used one for front stear. Took some time to get used to
stear in the wrong direction :o :o :o ....

No i used aright hand drive one turned upside down

Funny thing ! i have a friend with a 69 Corvette that wanted
R/P stearing and i told him to make it like that
But he ordered a kit from some Corvette specialist and got
exact the same setup i have been making for years ;D ;D

Vise decision to not buy it. I did a lot of bodywork in the
80-90s ,And i have seen many Fairlanes bent in front
of the rockers from tqbox repairs.
And they often had the door or the fenders not hung,
And bought cheap beacuse the previous owner got "tired of it"
All the rust fixed.Just hang and adjust door and fenders and
paint it......yeeaaahhh right
And when you gave them a estimate for fixing it they asked if i was crazy
Its only to adjust the doors and fenders(and thats after they tried to adjust
them for a couple of weeks)

Well if fishoil that smelly stinky oil you can Cook from
seals and herring. It was used here back in the day
when they mixed their own paint to paint the light
houses and fishing cabins out on islands in the sea.
It was the only thing that lasted in the harsh climate
I had a 200 liter barrel left in my barn. :o by my grand
father or his father,so maby i should have mixed my
own WD 40 ;D
I live right by the coast. I have the sea on one side
of the house, and the river on the other side
So my family have been fishermen and pilots and
shipbuilders and seal hunters.
Atleast the last 300 years. So sometimes
i make strange finds in the Buildings on my property

The pirates of the caribian ;D ;D
