Nicely done.  All my 3G installs use a 6 rib belt.  No problems even when racing.

Not to sidetrack this post, but which pulleys are you using?  I'm using a double v on my 428 and it will definitely squeal if the battery is low and the alternator is charging at full power.  Case in point, left the fans on manually on accident while eating tacos.  Post taco engine started...barely, everyone got to listen to my belts sing down the block.
Just another reason why I avoid tacos ;D  With that aside I had to put a double pulley from Summit on my F100 to gain charging traction, I'm only seeing about 1/3 diameter contact at the pulley so 2/3 total on the two belts.  Stopped the squealing but the hardest job I had in the process was "matching" a set of belts.  I'm running 1 Gates and 1 Dayco I shopped to fit.  Two of the same part number from the same lot by the same manufacturer weren't even close to the same length.  Could have ordered a matched set but where's the fun in that?

Cool. But keep a spare belt with you on trips. Think v belts don't last as long as sepentine belts when being bent back and forth.
Late to the party, agree on both counts, cool and v-belt flex.  It's true that most automotive v-belts do not like (or simply can't take) being flexed the wrong way.  There is a possible solution though, and that's to use a v-belt originally designed for use on a mower deck.  The correct length and width you would need are quite possibly shelf items.  Those belts are made to operate under high load and to flex in both directions.  Just a thought and never had to try it myself, but if belt life becomes an issue it's worth a shot-

Agree, I've never seen or heard real world evidence in support of quick fix or enhancement additives.  Being a flat tappet sort I run Brad Penn for the zinc for the reason stated, I don't have to guess at the required amount or be concerned with compatibility issues.

Asking for and needing prayer are the same things, so no it isn't enough, you don't shut it down. Quite a list of bad news you just posted, but on target prayer is the most powerful weapon in the tool box of those who understand it and apply it effectively.  Me, I'm not that sharp but I do understand it and apply it, it works.  Consider your well described injuries targeted.

Also, have you read the plugs?  Know they've been mentioned but if you're running a little "fat" then dieseling is possible even with the low RPM setting, it doesn't take long to put down some carbon deposits.

Looks like getting in and out of that thing would be a skill.  The lower edge of that camper shell doesn't look too user-skull-friendly.

Cool! I wonder if he's selling off this collection?

He's young enough looking that if he does, he'll have lotsa cash rather than die and leave the junkman to haul it all away for nothing.
I think this is the same guy who sells in Hemmings Motor News, think everything he has (almost everything since he's a Cyclone guy) is for sale.  Check out the 55 thru present Fords section and the parts adds afterward.  His name is Alex T- (& several more letters that I won't guess at without it in front of me :P)

That one is easy. On average, we are all very sick and have serious mental disorders. At least that's how non car people see us.

That is actually the professional opinion of my dad. Worshipping inanimate objects such as we do is crazy. It is like we go into bathrooms and crawl behind the toilets saying "Wow. a 2012 American Standard with a one gallon flush." And take a picture of it.
You have an actual 2012 American Standard?  Mine's an '06 ;D

Put 'em in the classifieds, you can't get them new anymore (at least I don't think so  ???), so they've got value to the right buyer-  Last I saw them listed it was '65 and up.

I have a set on my '64, you will need to "trim" the inner fender panels to fit.  Other concerns, # 8 passed very close to the factory brake and fuel line routing (too close, so I re-routed), and on the passenger side the only close issue was the idler arm but it is OK as is.  Another thing you'll need to look at is wheel offset and tire size.  If I go hard over to lock I can put the tires into contact with the tubes.  I haven't looked at replacing mine yet, cruising it a couple of times a week just hasn't forced me to at this point.

Do you guys really still have dry counties??
Yep, Went through the Jack Daniels distillery some time back and the only way you could get any bourbon in that county was to buy a souvenir bottle that just happened to come full of the devil's brew.  Of course by now the townspeople may have gathered up their pitch forks and overthrown the county seat, so who knows? ???

Hey Heo, speaking more of Sweden I saw a news story last week proudly proclaiming that Sweden was going to be "fossil fuel free" in a few short years.  You're just gonna drive your battery operated Galaxie 500 over a charging grid while tooling down the highway ???.  Is this for real over there, have they gone that far over the climate change cliff or do you just figure like me that someone big is seeing big dollar signs?

I was there in '14 and '15.  I learned that the same weather forecasters we use in Erie must be there too because they are equally unreliable.  Here's to a good weekend for all who could make it
