$200 obo

This unit came out of my 69 Torino and is in really nice shape.  I believe it would fit a 66-69 but double check on the 66-67 models.

The heater never leaked but I would still replace the core as it has sat a long time.
I would bet this is somewhat hard to find especially in this kind of shape.

Before I put it on fleabay, Someone who really needs this contact me an make a fair offer.

I have two sets of headers for sale.

1st Hooker competition race headers.  Two sets of collectors, multiple primary tube pieces to tune the primary lengths.  They were blasted long ago but have some surface rust.  They have the typical dents and dings from use and the lowest hanging portions are flat spotted.  Very usable with some TLC.  $350 obo.

Second A set of 6114 Hooker super competition headers with the power steering drop bracket.  These are uncoated with surface rust but in very good shape.  $175 obo.

I have a dual 1" core AL radiator brand new never even mounted.  The radiator is set up with an integrated auto trans cooler and custom AL fan shroud set up for dual electric fans.

The dimensions are 22" tall by 26" wide with a depth to the fan shroud of 5.25".  The fan openings are 12.25".

The shroud and the tanks are polished.

I bought this when Unique performance went out of business and was going to use it in my Torino build.  But now I am going with a C&R radiator with integrated oil and PS coolers.

It was originally designed for a 68 Mustang when Unique was building Elenors.

$500 + the ride.  PM,  or E-mail, if you have questions or are interested.

All 45 pages in one sitting....... :o  Wow.  With resolve like that you may just be a candidate for copilot on the next trip.

It was more fun than we could ever capture on a thread.   Even a 45 page thread.  You should have seen the 1000+ txt messages we received and sent along the way.

I hope all is well on the trip.  How about an update from the road?

Sorry

I thought I could keep up on two forums but only got this thread updated.

It looks like our first leg on Friday the 17th will be an attempt to make it from Ossipe NH to Philadelphia.   Anyone have some suggestions for a route, places to stay, eat or general advice.

Here is his post from the Lat G forum.

The plan started out as the former but became the latter. :)

Been looking patiently for an old vintage truck/hauler combo for almost a year and finally found one I really liked. But it couldn't be further away -- New Hampshire. No problem. After a few calls with the seller (ebay listing that did not meet reserve) it became a good enough reason to fly out and make a road trip back out of it all.

Since the truck has a 360" FT (beefier version of the FE) motor, the man for the job of co-pilot and Chief Fjord Engineer could only be that Torino guy, Rob.

Ok, pics do the best talking. Here she is in all her 34,000 original mile glory.

And here is the rough route we plan to take. We are heading up to get the truck next Thursday Jan 16 and are actually picking up a Camaro for a friend and bringing it back to Socal. So there's more justification to take a trip. :D

So if anyone is along our route, wants to try to meet up for a beer or just shoot the shiat, hit us up and we'll see if we can make it happen. Also, if you have any advice on what roads to avoid or fun car or eating places to hit, we are open for suggestions.

We are meeting up with Payton in NC to hook up and see some NASCAR related shops there for a day. I'm sure some beers will get drank.

Rob is a fish taco & waffle sandwich snob and I am a beer snob so we are on the lookout for breweries and cool eats. We are using this site as a guide so far. Pretty cool.

3400 miles. No overdrive. A 40 year old truck none of us have ever seen before. Probably 8 mpg. What's not to like?

Wish us luck.   :popcorn2:
