As of right now, I'm still waiting on the crankshaft to come in from Winberg. I have two billet cranks on order, one from Winberg, the other from Bryant....about $10000 in two cranks. I ordered the one from Bryant last year, they told me 24 weeks. I'm still 6-8 weeks out on that one...
Heads are ported and assembled. Intake is ported. Cam is here, lifters are here, pistons are hung on the rods, rings are filed, etc. Just waiting on a crank.
Any chance there will ever be enough interest to get several of the flat plane cranks made for interested parties?
Do you think there will be any issues as far as reliability with this? I know there are other flat plane crank v8s, but almost all are much smaller displacement.
