Title: Clutch replacement
Post by: Dan859 on April 04, 2020, 12:10:00 PM
Hi Everyone,
I'm looking for input on a new clutch for my 66 Fairlane.  It's a Ford Motorsports 351 block, 393 CID.  It dynoed 376 HP at the rear wheels, so I'm figuring about 425 HP at the flywheel.  Transmission is a TKO 600, rear end is a 9 inch with 3.75 posi gears.  The car is street driven, but I might take it to the track once, just to run it and get some time slips.  I would appreciate any suggestions for a new clutch, and maybe a flywheel if I end up needing one.  Thanks in advance.
Dan

Which bellhousing and which pattern does your flywheel have?

If you can run an 11” Long, I’d run a RAM 88769HDT.

It's a quicktime bellhousing, but I don't have it apart yet, so I don't know what the pattern is.
