How much mallory to internal balance a 418 ??

390 4.09 bore ... factory 428 crank  factory rods C7

cut down 390 sealed power forged pistons

Rough estimate ??

When my 428 crank was neutral balanced it took two slugs of mallory.

One or two slugs, probably around $350 I'd think.

Really depends on the parts. A couple of 427/454 combos I did took 3 plus slugs. Also, what actually is a "slug". I've see different sizes and different balance guys will approach the end result differently. It is what it is and quality costs money.
