Just got back from the track, but it was an eighth mile, not quarter.  I ran the test and tune, and with no track prep to speak of the 60 foot times were off by at least a tenth and a half.  Nevertheless the car was slower than I expected, only running around 6.35, which is equivalent to about a 9.90.  More work to do there...
