Jay B. and Drag Week 2018
« on: August 16, 2018, 09:34:04 AM »
Jay or anyone in the know? I've probably just missed seeing something that was posted here, but what are Jay's plans for competing in this years DW?  Too busy with manufacturing projects for this year, or going this year and just top secret at the moment?

Not going this year, for one thing it starts in Atlanta which is a real long haul for me, plus I have my 68 Shelby convertible project taking up a lot of time, my cylinder head project for FE Power on deck, etc. etc.  So, no Drag Week for me this year.  I'll be watching Alan and Doug on the live feed though...

Watching me go down the track should give you enough time to eat lunch. I'll be watching Alan and Mr. Miller. I'm really hoping he can defend his title this year.

I’ll be on land around that time. Was thinking of riding up for test and tune and the first day in Atlanta. I’ll have to get your number Doug, we can keep the bleachers warm  ;D

You really should do that, Drew. There probably won't be a lot of guys running on T&T day, but that's when you can walk around and check out all the cool cars, and there will be a lot of em. If you decide to go, PM me and I'll get back with ya.

I'm in Georgia, and I was hoping to see Jay run as well as Cody L's truck, looks like both of those are out.  Hopefully both of the Millers will be running.  I'm planning on being there for at least one day since it's closer for me than normal.  I was planning on Monday, but Sunday T & T might be the best day to actually meet people.

Drag week party!!!

I was gonna ride up on the 9th for t&t, crash at a hotel and watch the racing on the 10th.
I’d follow the whole thing but I’ve only been home 5 days out of 100 and I’ve got a lot of work piled up.

I'm 75 miles south of track in Macon, I hope to make both Atlanta stops this year.
