Looking for a driveshaft slip yoke for a street driven 427 top loader (28 spline output).
Any recommended sources?
Any suppliers to avoid?

Depends on what size u-joint you need, but a good Spicer is hard to beat. Strange or Mark Williams would be after that if you need something extremely fancy and beefy.

I have used the linked slip yoke from Sonnax. Very nice quality and made in USA. Full spline. I just bought the 31 spline 1350 for a new setup, but haven't used it yet. First one is a 1310 u joint, the second is for the 1330:

Thanks. Stock 427 with street tires so nothing more beefy than stock should be needed.
The OE length is about 8 1/8" to the bearing center line.

I have one of these. Got it by mistake for my 4R70W, but it won't work because mine is 1.600 OD and this is 1.500 diameter(C4).
They just had to screw with the diameter so nothing common fits a 4r70w, even though it is only 28 spline.

That looks like it would work but I would like to find one the same length as my 8 1/8" original. Any ideas?
I guess this yoke is a bit of an oddball because of the 1330 ujoint in combination with the 28 spline output.

David Kee Toploaders has a 28 spline yoke for the 1330 u joint. Part number isn't too hard to remember either, 28-1330. Don't know about the overall length, priced around $90.
